For many decades our country has been involved in an escalating culture war between those holding to Judaeo-Christian values and those who wish to fundamentally change society. Many of us have watched sadly from the sidelines as one battle after another has been lost to the radical anti-God forces.
While much of the struggle takes place in the political arena, the reality is that the culture war is a reflection of a greater spiritual battle.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist…

Believers cannot remain standing by wringing our hands. We are front-line soldiers and these are evil days. We’ve been provided with all the weapons and supplies we need, but we must pick them up, put them on, and use them.
In today’s climate, we desperately need the belt of truth. Used boldly, it not only protects us, but it defeats the enemy’s lies, as well.
The combined prayers of believers have mighty power.
