Under His Wings

This morning I booked my flight for a September visit with my son and his family in Italy.

flyingReading all the warnings and security alerts on the Air France website could have discouraged me from going, if I wasn’t so motivated to see my loved ones, especially my three beautiful Italian granddaughters.

Still, air travel, especially in light of current events, takes faith.  Not simply faith the plane will function appropriately and no one will blow it up or shoot it out of the sky, but faith that God is still in control and faith that, whatever happens, I will be wrapped in His loving arms.

As travelers we trust the wings of the planes not to fall off or we couldn’t get on board.

In all my travels, whether on land, sea or air, I must also trust I will be under the protective wings of my creator.
